New Year's Resolutions----31 days LATER

Just one month ago, everyone was a buzz with their New Year's Resolutions.  


"I'm going to lose weight!"

"I'm going to have a better work/life balance!"

"I'm going to be more organized!"

"I"m going to be more productive!"


Sound familiar?   So 31 days later... how are those goals working out for you?


According to US News, 80% of New Year's Resolutions fail by the second week of February.  Are you going to be part of the 20% that succeeds?


As January comes to close, now it the perfect time to reflect on your resolutions.  What has gone well?  What could you improve?  Perhaps you need to make your goals more measurable?  Instead of the goal, "Get in shape", you could change your goal to "Exercise for at least 30 minutes, 5 times a week".  Or instead of making a goal to "Get more organized", you could make a goal to "Spend 15 minutes a day sorting paperwork".  By being specific, you can better track how successful you are and be able to focus on tangible tasks to meet your goals.  


To be successful in meeting your goals, you need to recommit yourself to your resolutions every day, week, and month.  One way that helps me is by using my Set Me Free! So don't throw in the towel on your New Year's Resolutions.  Instead, reaffirm them today, or create some New Month Resolutions for February.  Take advantage of February's clean slate.  You've got this!
